Learning to pay attention is critical if we desire to be good followers and friends of Jesus. Making space in our lives is necessary if we are to pay attention. Our spiritual formation retreat will provide space to reflect upon the need and nature of spiritual formation in our lives as persons. Our time together will include (1) interaction around some challenging thoughts, (2) an extended experience of solitude, meditation on Scripture and prayer, as well as (3) a good conversation with one another around our prayerful reading of Scripture—all of which will assist our being shaped into Christ-likeness.
Using Gallup’s StrengthsFinder™ assessment, this workshop focuses on an identification and understanding of individual personality strengths, as well as how these strengths can contribute to setting a trajectory for a person’s future contributions, leadership and service. Prior to attending the workshop each attendee is asked to take the StrengthsFinder™ assessment and submit their results to the facilitator for review. Cost: $75
This formative workshop helps The Journey participants reflect upon their calling and character, their experiences, passions, and competencies in the light of God’s ongoing work in the world, and thereby begin discovering what God’s particular purposes for their life could be. This 4-5 hour workshop provides participants with the necessary space and tools to prayerfully develop an initial draft of their own personal vision statement based on what they have discovered about themselves and the unique callings God has given them. The time will also provide a challenge to live out what they are discovering about who God has designed them to be and what he may be inviting them to do (Ephesians 2:10).
Next event on June 1, 2013 from 9:00am – 3:00pm at Kelowna Gospel Fellowship, Kelowna BC. Click here for a brochure.

This workshop helps Equipping Experience participants gain a clearer perspective on the nature of the system of which they are a part and understand their role in the system. Concepts of “a living system”, differentiation, and non-anxious presence will be introduced and explored in an effort to enhance the participants self-understanding and personal transformation. The practices of differentiation and having a non-anxious presence are key to effective leadership.

Enhance your year by joining us for this Enriching Retreat in beautiful Banff Canadian Rockies for a time of shared reflection and discussion, pause and prayer. This year’s conversation will flow out of Randy and Rob’s book, Deep Mentoring: Guiding Others on Their Leadership Journey (IVP, October 2012). For so many of us, the Spirit is inviting us to pay attention, to move beyond the work of leading to the work of developing and guiding others as leaders. For others of us, we are needing time to slow down and reflect upon what the Lord is up to. We hope you can join us for this unique opportunity in the beautiful setting in Banff.
