DESCRIPTION:Cultivate a Mentoring Way\nCultivate a mentoring way in your relationships\, leadership\, team\, and ministry context. \nIf we hope to help men and women “grow up into Christ in every way” (Ephesians 4:15)\, creating an environment that cultivates and equips adults to walk alongside others well is essential. \nImagine a Mentoring Way in Your Context\nJoin Rob Loane\, Pam Edwards\, and guest practitioner Holly Carlson for a practical and encouraging conversation that will stretch your imagination for how mentoring can take shape in settings you care about and lead.  \nMost adults don’t believe they have what it takes to mentor someone else. But mentoring can be learned\, and this conversation will give you practical examples for equipping others as well as growing as a mentor yourself.  \nA mentoring way can be transferred and cultivated in all of our relationships\, leadership\, teams\, churches\, and workplaces.  \nWhether mentoring is new to you or already part of how you lead and relate to others\, this workshop will help you grow in a mentoring way yourself and equip others to do the same.  \nDiscover how presence\, prayer\, deep listening\, and thoughtful questions can become part of the way you cultivate a mentoring environment in your setting.  \nReserve your spot and consider bringing your team or colleagues with you.  \n  \n \nRobert Loane serves as President of VantagePoint3 Ministries (VP3)\, seeking to both learn and encourage a more relational way of life and ministry. He is co-author of Deep Mentoring: Guiding Others on Their Leadership Journey (IVP\, 2012) and A Mentoring Guide: Christ. Conversation. Companionship (VP3\, 2019). He has been the lead writer of The Journey process and other VP3 processes for the last 20 years. At the core of his life and work\, Rob loves helping people find ways to have better conversations about the things that matter most in their lives. \n  \nPamela Edwards\, PhD\, serves VantagePoint3 Ministries by thinking about best practices for Adult Learning and Growth\, with a particular eye on developmentally minded leaders. She co-authored A Mentoring Guide: Christ. Conversation. Companionship (VP3\, 2019)\, as well as the recently refreshed Journey process. Pam and her husband\, Teryl\, have been married 40 years. They have three adult children and 12 grandchildren\, which includes two sets of identical twins! Pam loves a good long walk/hike and looks forward to having and hosting meaningful conversations. \n  \n \nHolly Carlson\, DMin\, MSN\, CNE\, is a nurse educator\, academic leader\, and ministry mentor whose doctoral work explored mentoring as a means of building resilience in novice nurses. She also facilitates the mentoring program at her church and is especially interested in how intentional\, Christ-centered relationships can foster spiritual formation\, resilience\, and meaningful growth across different seasons of life. \n  \n  \n \nA Mentoring Guide: Christ.
