Formational Conversation with Friends

An evening discussion hosted by Oak Hills Church and VantagePoint3
“It’s not unusual for any of us to begin something quite good. But it is unusual to continue and persevere. The difficulties aren’t for the most part external but internal —finding the energy and vision to keep the effort going. Being good and doing good are seldom adequately rewarded: more often than not they get us in trouble. The world, the flesh, and the devil are in fierce opposition to the Christian way and wreck many lives that start off beautifully.” –Eugene Peterson
The local church can be a place of deep growth and belonging, but our spiritual growth and formation will not be without opposition and struggle. Join us for a Friday evening conversation among friends centered on spiritual formation—its challenges, its invitations, and the practices that help sustain and set the table for lifelong apprenticeship with Jesus. This evening is open to anyone—especially ministry leaders, pastors, spiritual directors, and formation-minded practitioners—who care deeply about cultivating mature, resilient faith in themselves and others.
